A new clinic is set to open at the Halstead Hospital site next month, bringing expanded GP services to the area.
The Halstead Heights Clinic will operate as a branch of the Elizabeth Courtauld Practice, based in Factory Lane West, with doors opening on April 15.
The initiative has been developed through a partnership involving NHS Property Services, NHS Mid and South Essex, and Braintree District Council.
Project representatives say the additional clinical and consulting rooms will enable the practice to accommodate a broader range of healthcare professionals, improving patient access to services such as blood tests, vaccinations, and minor surgical procedures.
The clinic occupies a building separate from the main hospital complex, with its own dedicated parking available for both patients and staff.
Patients wishing to use the new facility will need to book appointments in advance, either through the Elizabeth Courtauld Practice website or by phone.
